1.5 tons of meat and 500 packets of cheese were distributed to the Chechen refugees in Turkey.
Food distribution for the Chechen refugees most of whom are living in Istanbul continues. Realized in the regular relief framework, 1.5 tons of meat was distributed to the refugees. The distributions benefited nearly 200 families with 500 packets containing a half a kilo of cheese.
After the war that began in 1999, the majority of Chechen refugees in Turkey are woman and children. IHH has remained their main support and possibly their only support for the last 6 years.
