Three more water wells in Somali

IHH has 20 water well projects in Somali of which nearly half of are completed- In addition to the well digging in Somali, many projects of constructing water wells continue to be a hope for the people in other countries where the drought is severe such as Ethiopia and Niger. While our water well work is continuing in water needed regions of Africa, three more drinking water wells were ready to service in Somali.

In Africa where hundreds of thousands of people have benn left destitute by the drought, new water wells were dug by IHH.
Three wells whose construction began in September are now in service in Hiran, middle Shabelle.   Sub Shabelle is the driest region of Somali.
We aim to benefit at least 5 thousand families with these wells.  This only alleviates some needs of the people, no end to the drought continues to keep the people in a cycle of poverty-
